*This function is available for THETA X, THETA Z1, and THETA V.
Start and Operate Plugins installed on the THETA using the RICOH360 App.

Start Plugins
To Operate plugins, follow the steps below.
- Turn on the THETA
- Start the "RICOH360" smartphone application and Log in
- Tap
- Select RICOH THETA, which has been turned on, from the List of Authorized RICOH THETAs.
- Tap Plugins under "General."
A list of Plugins installed in THETA will open
At this point, if the THETA itself and your smartphone are online, a list of Plugins will appear on the "Plugins" page.
If you are offline, tap Select the plugin to start on the "Plugins" page. After a short wait, the "Plugins" page will be refreshed and the list of plugins will be displayed.
Up to this point, the operation is the same regardless of the model. From this point onward, the Operate procedure differs depending on the model, so please Select the model you are using.
THETA X

From the list of Plugins, tap the Plugin you wish to start.
The screen for the selected Plugins will open. -
Tap Start.
Plugins will start in THETA. -
Tap Operate.
The user interface set up for each Plugins will open.
When you want to quit using Plugins, tap Quit.
THETA Z1
First, you must select the plug-in to be used with the camera.

Select the plugin you want to use from the “List of plugins used by the camera” or “List of installed plugins”.
- If you selected a plugin in the “List of plugins used by the camera”, tap Start
The plugin will be activated
- If you select a plugin in the “List of installed plugins”, select which plugin No. to start with.
The plugin will be activated. At the same time, the activated plug-in is registered in the selected Plug-in No.
- If you selected a plugin in the “List of plugins used by the camera”, tap Start

Depending on the Plugins you have started, a button to Operate will be displayed. Tap the Operate button to open the user interface set by each Plugin.

Tap Operate.
The user interface set up for each Plugins will open.
When you want to quit using Plugins, tap Quit.
Registering RICOH THETA, Plugins can be Selected and Started by Operate plugin on the Camera button. 3 Plugins can be Register RICOH THETA on Z1.

To Unregister a Plugins registered in the Camera (which will be displayed in the "List of plugins used by the camera"), tap the Plugins Name , then tap Unregister from the camera.
To change the order of Plugins registered RICOH THETA in the Camera, tap the Plugin Name , then tap the radio button for the Plugin number you wish to change.
THETA V

Select the plugin you want to use from the “List of plugins used by the camera” or “List of installed plugins”.

Tap Start.
Starts the Plugins on the THETA.
The activated Plugins will be registered in THETA V and can also be started by pressing and holding the mode button on the side of the main unit from the next time onward. -
Depending on the Plugins you have started, a button to Operate will be displayed. Tap the Operate button to open the user interface set for the respective Plugins.
When you want to quit using Plugins, tap Quit.
Install Plugins
To Install plugins on your THETA, you will need the RICOH THETA PC App and the USB cable provided. Download the RICOH THETA PC App here
- Connect the Camera to the computer using the supplied USB cable
- Select plugins to install from the Plugins Store website, and click the Install on THETA button.
The basic application for PC will start. - Follow the on-screen instructions to install.
Uninstall Plugins
To Install plugins on your THETA, you will need the RICOH THETA PC App and the USB cable provided. Download the RICOH THETA PC App here
- Start the basic application for PC
- Click on File → Plugin Management in the menu.
- Click on Uninstall plugins in Camera
- Click Uninstall to the right of the name of the Plugins you wish to uninstall.
A dialog box "Are you sure you want to uninstall?" will open. No. If you are sure, click OK.
