This function is available for Z1, X, and V.
The frequency band of the wireless LAN when connecting the camera and smartphone in AP mode can be changed; by changing 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz, large images stored in the camera can be transferred more quickly.
Please note
- The use of 5GHz is prohibited outdoors in some countries and regions. Please use it in accordance with the laws of the country or region in which it is used.
- The changed frequency band will take effect the next time the radio is turned on.

Tap at the bottom of the app screen

From the list of linked cameras, tap the one used to take the picture.

Turn on the camera

Tap Wi-Fi frequency band in Connection Settings
Start the wireless LAN connection between the camera and the smartphone. During the wireless LAN connection, a screen may appear asking for permission to connect to the network by the smartphone's operating system, in which case tap OK.
*If the camera's wireless mode is set to client mode, a wireless LAN connection cannot be established. Please change the wireless mode to Access Point mode. For instructions on how to change the wireless mode, please click here.

Tap OK when the dialog box opens to select the frequency band to use.

After changing the frequency, turn the camera's wireless button from off to on to complete the change.
