The THETA and RICOH360 App will be registered over a wireless LAN in order to use the RICOH360 App to take remote shots of the THETA and view the photos in the THETA on the RICOH360 App.
The THETA and RICOH360 App are also linked via wireless LAN to upload THETA photos to the RICOH360 Cloud and to view THETA usage on the RICOH360 Cloud.

Turn on the THETA X

Swipe the THETA X display panel from top to bottom and tap the icons for wireless LAN and Bluetooth® functions and location information to turn them ON (blue)

Open the RICOH360 app and login

Tap

Tap the Register button

Tap RICOH THETA X, and when "Camera Found" is displayed, tap Connect

When the screen below appears, tap the Connect button on the THETA X's screen

When the screen below appears, registering the THETA X with your smartphone is complete.
- To take a picture with the linked THETA, tap Capture. For more information on how to take a picture, please click here.
If you wish to "Registering THETA X to the cloud" or "Settings for automatic uploading" after leaving the Registering operation here and taking a picture or performing other operations, please follow the instructions here. - If you wish to continue linking the THETA X to the cloud without leaving at this point, please refer to "Registering the THETA X to the cloud" below.
2.Registering THETA X to the cloud

Tap Connect cameras to the cloud on the screen.
Wait a moment, and when the screen below appears, registering the THETA X to the cloud is complete.
- Registering THETA Management can also be viewed from a browser. For details, please click here.
- After this, setting the "Auto Upload" function will automate the THETA's Internet connection so that it can Upload Photo to the Cloud immediately after the remote shooting is complete.
Photos uploaded to the cloud can be viewed in either the browser or the app. If you wish to continue setting up the automatic upload function, please refer to "Setting Up Automatic Upload" below. - If you wish to leave the Registering operation here and perform other operations such as taking pictures before setting up the automatic upload settings, please follow the instructions here.
3.Settings for automatic uploading

Tap Configure automatic u... on the Display Settings screen.

Make sure you are at the location where the Wi-Fi router you want to connect to is located, and tap Configure.

Turn off the camera's power saving mode
Swipe the THETA X display panel from top to bottom and tap the "Power Saving Mode" toggle in the menu that appears. The toggle will change from blue to gray. Once the camera is registereding, you can turn the power saving mode back on. -
Tap Next

From the list of Wi-Fi SSIDs displayed, select the Wi-Fi SSID you wish to connect to, enter the corresponding Password, and tap Connect

After entering the Password, wait for a moment "Auto Upload completed!" is displayed, Settings are complete.

With the THETA X turned off, tap

Select the THETA X you wish to register to the cloud from the list of registered cameras

Tap Auto Upload under Cloud Connectivity

Turn on the THETA X

Tap Select Wi-Fi to Connect

Turn off the camera's power saving mode and tap Next

From the list of Wi-Fi SSIDs displayed, select the Wi-Fi SSID you wish to connect to, enter the corresponding Password, and tap Connect
